Origin® is a brand of Enkador, an Ecuadorian company that ventured into the world of PET recycling 12 years ago through the Recypet® brand. The initial focus was to produce plastic resins to create new products such as polyester synthetic filament, fabrics, and apparel.

Origin® is born to be the protagonist in the sustainability process of the inclusive recycling value chain: it is the first brand in Ecuador that encompasses the entire process of the inclusive circular economy, through the production and placing on the market of resins, preforms, and bottles R-PET made with post-consumer PET as raw material, working hand in hand with thousands of grassroots recyclers.

There is a virtuous cycle behind the unlimited reuse of PET and, therefore, the reduction of virgin plastic consumption. Enkador's proposal and its Origin® model is a commitment to an inclusive circular economy and triple impact (economic, social, and environmental), promoting sustainability as part of the company's business model.
