Filip Vangeel was born in Belgium in 1967 and graduated as a chemical engineer (Msc) in 1992. After serving as a non-commissioned officer in the Belgian Army, Filip joined the Procter & Gamble packaging R&D team as a researcher in 1994. Over the years, Filip led global projects, developed and introduced some of P&G's most iconic packaging. Filip ended his career at P&G as a senior scientist with multiple patents in his portfolio. In 2018, Filip took on the role of circular economy manager at Belgian Extended Producer Responsibility company Valipac. In his role of catalyst and value chain connector, Filip guides the Belgian industry in their transition to the circular economy.
